Hi Guys,

This month I decided to participate in this years Inktober.  I was so nervous about doing this challenge.  For support I asked my sister to join me and she did. (Thanks Sissy!)  So I bought some ink, brushes, micron pens, and different color paper and since I didn’t want to follow the prompts I had to figure out what I wanted to draw.  I also decided to live stream on my Twitch channel @http://www.twitch.tv/frankierose

Day 1 – I was just playing around with the paper and micron/white gel pens I had.  I was thinking about textiles and used the black paper to make a pleated skirt.

Day 2 – I was in a hurry to get home for the inktober stream and forgot my micron pens at work.  I didn’t realize it until I got home.  I had recently bought a fill-able watercolor brush and some ink so I decided to use that.  This was the 1st and last time I used that fill-able brush because it kept dripping ink onto my paper and I had to figure out how to incorporate it into my sketch.  I just started using normal brushes.

Day 3 – I wanted to sketch a girl with big hair (hair goals) and a fun graphic on her shirt.  It was between a juice box or a teddy, as you can see juice box won.

Day 4 – This was done on the late night Wednesday stream.

Day 5 – Decided to give her freckles

Day 6 – I wanted this girl to be a little more edgy

Day 7 – I finished and survived the first week of inktober!  I felt happy with myself and glad I decided to join in the inking fun! If you would like to keep up to date with all the sketches you can check out my instagram @boarandbunny
